Description: This listing is for the exact pistol in the photos. Beretta's 84 Cheetah series pistols have always been their most classy, best feeling gun of all. 84 production ran from 1976 until 1982. This one's AD date code indicates 1978 production. Manufacturer was Pietro Beretta, S.A., of Gardone, Italy. Slide is so marked and frame is so proofed. Importer stamp is on the left side slide as required by GCA68. Type is blowback action, single and double action semi automatic hammer fired pistol. Chambering is .380 ACP caliber in English, 9 Short in Italian, or 9mm Kurz in the German language. Construction is steel barrel, slide, and working parts fitted into a 7075 lightweight alloy frame. Barrel is 3 1/2 inch steel one piece, with a 1:10 right hand six groove bore. Slide is classic open top, serrrated rear. Sights are slide integral white dot front, and dovetailed black single center dot rear that is drift adjustable for windage only. Trigger is .340 serrated face with overtravel stop. Double action trigger pull is smooth and consistent two stage 12 pound vicinity, with 1 1/8 inch of travel. Single action pull is two stage 1/2 inch travel with 5 pound vicinity pull, with minimal felt creep and overtravel. Hammer is .260 serrated round commander type. Magazine is new replacement Mec-Gar13 rounder, so 13+1 fully loaded capacity. Main safety is ambidextrous frame mounted lever type. Safety will lock in all three positions, full rest, half cock and fully cocked, but the levers do Not decock the pistol. It also has a firing pin safety, but does NOT have any magazine safety; it Will fire single shot with no magazine. Safety and slide release levers are original factory extended serrated surface. Frame is first type round trigger guard, with grip frame serrated fore and aft. Grips are factory walnut. Slide and barrel finish are polished surface blue and gloss black anodized, with satin finish walnut. Surface detractions on this Cheetah are moderate, principally freckling and toning to the slide, with holster wear and grip wear elsewhere. We rate this 84 as Good, condition,70 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. This pistol served in the Land of Israel with public civilian security. We estimate it has been fired fewer than 2000 times, no rounds at all for a Beretta 84. Replacement pricing for a current production 84FS Cheetah is $815.00 on berettausa com. We’re offering the 84 BB Cheetah in the photos, however, for only $ 319.00. 2% discount if payment is with USPS Money Order & Not Credit Card. Not transferable to civilian residents of California or Massachusetts. Civilian buyers in CT, DC, MD, NJ, and VT will receive a Mec-Gar 10 round magazine.
