For those not familiar, after 2 national media shootings involving the "deadly" Black Talon ammo in the early 1990s with the subsequent media attention on the "Black Talon" name, Winchester withdrew it from their commercial line but continued to offer it to law enforcement in a white Ranger box marked as pictured "Law Enforcement" & Controlled Expansion". The only differences between the white boxed Ranger SXT "Controlled Expansion" law enforcement line and the earlier Black/Red boxed BLACK TALON is the black/red boxed version had nickle plated cases and they were 20 rounds to a box while these are 50 rds/box.
