Two things: one, we have Beretta 81 pistols for sale at very competitive prices; and two, these magazines have a 7 day return privilege, but no warranty otherwise. This listing is for ONE Magazine. Paying $50 for a magazine flies in the face of everything thrifty and Scottish. Here is a reasonable, quality alternative. These are Mec-Gar magazines originally manufactured and stamped to fit Beretta 84 or Browning BDA Pistols, but that our local engineering talent has modified to fit the Beretta model 81 series pistols chambered in .32 ACP. Manufacturer is Mec-Gar s.r.l. of Gussago, Italy. Importer does not matter since these are no longer under importer warranty. Construction is heat treated carbon steel body and spring stop, music wire spring, and high impact tough lubed polymer floorplate and cartridge follower. Magazines’ lip or mouth area has been modified to cycle .32 ACP caliber ammunition, so these magazines will NOT cycle .380 ACP or any other round. Backs are welded and smooth milled, and we have checked each magazine’s fit. Finish is polished surface blued steel, marked for .380 ACP, but that is no longer the case. Body has three round count ports on its left side. Each magazine holds 14 rounds of .32 ACP caliber ammunition. Their springs are stiff, but they will fit, and work correctly in, a Beretta 81 in .32 ACP. They will not work in any other pistol. Replacement pricing for factory 12 round 81 magazines will be $60 or more on berettausa com or midwestshooters com. We’re offering our modified Mec-Gars each, however, for only $ 27.00.
