We have upgraded the factory original Catamount® Fury II 12 gauge AK-47 shotgun into a precision tactical shotgun- the CFXtreme. The CFXtreme provides the ultimate in personal / home defense with maximum firepower! The original Catamount® Fury II semi-auto shotgun comes from the factory as a highly reliable AK47 12 gauge shotgun, with simple maintenance and ease of operation. The factory gas system has an external adjustment for both high brass and low brass 12 gauge shotgun shells. It is chambered to accept both 2-3/4" and 3" magnum shells. It has a bolt hold open button that is conveniently located in front of the trigger guard. The receiver top cover is hinged for ultimate stability, and has a built in weaver/picatinny rail for mounting optics and sights. The CFXtreme features a shortened barrel with permanent welded heavy duty steel US mfg. Phantom style flash hider / muzzle break. The total barrel length, including flash hider / muzzle break is just 18 ¼ inches- the shortest legal barrel length possible. ***WE CUSTOM TUNE THE CFXtreme GAS SYSTEM WITH OUR UNIQUE PROPRIETARY PROCESS TO ENHANCE CYCLING PERFORMANCE WHEN SHOOTING LOW BRASS SHOTGUN SHELLS. THIS PROVIDES SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT OVER THE ORIGINAL FACTORY GAS SYSTEM WHEN SHOOTING LOW BRASS SHELLS*** The CFXtreme has a proprietary custom machined aluminum US mfg. stock adapter with a US mfg. aluminum buffer tube. The Hogue US mfg. pistol grip is made from a rubberized recoil absorbing material and features ergonomic finger grooves.
