Here is a slick finished, smooth functioning tactical shotgun manufactured on the order of the Benelli Nova Tactical. Manufacturer is Akkar Silah Sanayi of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. Importer and Warrantor is Samco Global Arms of Miami. Type is pump or slide action shotgun. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, trigger, magazine assembly, levers, internal parts, and sling studs, built into a light weight alloy receiver with polymer stock, forend, and trigger housing assembly. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Barrel is 18 inch plain, with .720 Improved Cylinder muzzle and chrome lined bore and chamber hood interior. Outside diameter is .834 at the muzzle. Sights are Welded steel beaded type blade front, with grooved rear sight on the receiver. Magazine tube is 15 inch overall length, with steel stud cap, and holds 5 rounds of 2 3/4 inch or 4 rounds of 3 inch shells, fully loaded capacity of 5 + 1 on 2 3/4 inch, 4 + 1 on 3 inch. Slide release lever is extended smooth faced steel. Trigger is .250 serrated face steel, with push button safety for a right handed shooter. We assume the safety is not reversible for left handed shooters. Trigger pull on the photo specimen gauged at 5 3/4 pounds, with moderate felt creep and overtravel. Pump mechanism is double steel slide bars, with slotted steel shell carrier. Forend is semi beavertail black synthetic, with corn cob type serrations. Length of pull is 13 7/8 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 3/4 inch recoil pad. Stock drop is standard 1 1/2 at comb and 2 1/2 inches at the heel with a 3/4 inch right hand cant. Stock has molded checker surface laterals on the pistol grip. Weight empty is 5 pounds, 11 ounces, with center of gravity an inch behind the breech face. Metal finish is durable satin nickel. Lettering is mechanically inscribed on each part. Note that each shotgun will have a small amount of forend contact marking on the left side of its receiver. Each Aimguard shotgun comes in its factory box with protective paper, removable three shot adapter or plug, buttstock extension shim, and instruction manual with five year service warranty statement from Samco. This is a well built, slick finished shotgun. Replacement pricing on competitor Nova Tactical is upwards of $500.
