Hi-Standard was the first and for years the military's only target pistol. For plinking and beer can dancing it absolutely cant be beat. If you want different barrels they can be found on e-bay They come in a variety of lengths. Changing them is a song. The barrel release is the button on front of the trigger. For people who consider this weapon puny I reference that the 22lr is the choice of mobsters and assassins' world wide, silent and large magazine. My personal Range guns are a High Standard 22LR and a Marlin 60 Micro Groove 22LR Automatic with tubular magazine. The High Standard is a Duro-Matic it fits nicely in a computer tablet bag converted to range bag. Room for extra magazines and lots of ammo. I got this one super cheap from someone who didn't know its value.. It was missing the extractor. I bought it on Ebay for $10 and installed it in 10 minutes, It is pristine it is a keeper here in my bottom desk drawer. High-Standards are an everyone should own at least one, kind of gun.
