This is an early (circa 1930's I believe) piece that combines expert taxidermy, artwork, woodwork and glasswork. It features a male and female pheasant, placed in a three dimensional, hand painted background. It is protected by the original piece of handcrafted convex "bubble glass" that is set in a gorgeous, custom made wooden frame. The overall dimensions are approximately 48" wide by 30" tall by 7" deep (including the convex glass bubble). This unique and beautiful example of early 20th century artisanship would be a wonderful addition to your home, hunting lodge or any other place where it can be displayed and enjoyed!
