Description: Few of us will ever own a Model 15 Smith & Wesson. Here is the model 15’s Brazilian offspring, the Spesco Falcon with tapered 3 inch Pencil barrel and adjustable sights, with a factory issue military type finish. Its successor, the Taurus IDI Model 84, enjoyed a production run of some 20 years. Manufacturer was Forjas Taurus S.A. of Porto Allegre, Brazil. Importer was Spesco Corp. of Atlanta, and it is so marked. Type is double and single action revolver with transfer bar internal safety device. Frame is 5 screw construction, 4 screws on the side plate and one in front of the trigger guard. Construction is all steel, with Brazilian walnut magna type service grips. Barrel is 3 inch tapered type, 1:18.75 six groove right hand rifling, pinned into the frame. Sights are ramp type blade front with windage and elevation adjustable rear. Cylinder capacity is 6 rounds of .38 Special standard or +P ammunition, with rough serration cylinder fluting. Trigger is .250 serrated face service type blue steel, with matching serrated spur hammer. Ignition is via hammer nose firing pin. Finish is matte military type, possibly parkerized. This revolver comes to us from a New England collection, where it probably served with a private security agency. From its 575000 range serial number, it was manufactured in 1973 or 1974. Surface detractions are moderate, as the photos show, with occasional finish freckling and faint amounts of contact wear. Lettering is strong throughout, and we believe the finish is original factory. We rate it as Very Good, 80 percent vicinity finishwise by our estimate; but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. We do not believe it was actually fired more than 100 times. Bore, cylinder chambers and mechanism are all bright and clean. Blast effect to the under side of the frame top strap directly above the barrel’s forcing cone is minimal, an etchy line with no depth. Hammer travels an additional 15 degrees on all six positions in double action after the cylinder times, and fully 30 degrees on single action. Double action pull is 12 pound vicinity. Single action trigger pull measures a stiff but crisp original 8 pounds. Lateral play to the cylinder is minimal. Cylinder face to forcing cone gap measures .014. We consider this to be an eminently collectable early Taurus. Own the Taurus Spesco Falcon in the photos for only $ 289.00.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
