Winchester M-70 Pre-64 Std. Grade .220 Swift, 26 inch bbl., dates 1953.

Personal gun I am selling due to retirement – This is an excellent example of a Pre-64 M-70 with perfect bore and has no major metal marks – gun shows light usage and is about 95-96% All Day!

Raised cheek piece stock with widow’s peak metal butt, wood has only minor handling marks, normal edge wear on the blueing, rear sight missing BUT set of 1 inch Leupold base and rings are installed and a military style sling – see photos. Nice smooth trigger at about 2 lbs.

Super clean example of a Pre-64 Model 70 that I have owned since the early 1990’s. Mounted scope and sighted in – turned a few ground hogs inside out and that’s about the usage. Looks to be carried more then shot.

Need a nice clean M-70 .220 Swift to shoot – this is it.
