Ruger Super Blackhawk .44M/.44 Spec. "200th Year" (U.S. Bicentennial) Commemorative Model - NIB (One Owner) - Model Produced Only in 1976 - Collectible Guns > Pistols > Ruger Single Action Revolvers > Blackhawk Type
Description: I purchased this 43-yr. old (American Bicentennial commemorative) New Model Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum/.44 Special single-action, 6-shot, 7 1/2" barrel blued revolver (serial number 81-64480) new in 1976, the ONLY year this model was manufactured.

It is in the exact same condition as when it left the factory. I have not cocked/dropped the hammer, rotated the cylinder, or pulled the trigger. Due to factory test firing/cylinder rotation, it's common for there to be a cylinder ring, but, with this gun, the ring is miniscule/barely-visible and NO bluing is worn off, so that no bare/"white" steel is showing. Has roll-marked inscription on top of barrel that reads, "MADE IN THE 200th YEAR OF AMERICAN LIBERTY". Has a collector-desirable "PRE-WARNING" barrel, i.e., there is no ""Warning: read the instruction manual ..." inscription on the barrel. The (wide) hammer spur, (wide) trigger, and front (fixed ramp blade) sight are serrated. Square-notch rear sight is adjustable for windage/elevation and is protected by frame-integral "guard wings" on both sides of the sight. Frame and grip frame are steel. Unfluted cylinder with SN inscribed on front of the cylinder, matching the SN on the frame and SN on the box. Metal finishing/high polishing and bluing are superb...I could find no flaws in the finish or on the walnut grip panels, which are inlaid with Ruger silver-toned logos w/ black backgrounds at the tops of the grips. Dragoon-style square back trigger guard. Transfer bar safety.

The internal (red, paper) box is in 100% factory-original condition and a Ruger employee hand wrote the serial number on the front side of it, thus matching the box to the gun's SN. The brown cardboard outer (shipping) box fully encases the red box for protection and the serial number is also handwritten on the side of the shipping box, thus matching the gun's SN...the integrity of the box is excellent; however, there are, for some unknown/unfortunate reason, quite a number of small, oily-looking spots on the top of the outer/shipping box, perhaps due to over-spray when I coated the gun, and/or other gun(s), with rust preventative. Included are all original factory papers..."Marketing Data Card" and "Instructions and Parts List" (manual), protective plastic bag, and brown rust resistance paper .

Reason for non-return policy is that gun is as completely and honestly described as stated in the "Item Description" and as shown in the photos.
