Based on a Mark X Mauser action built in Yugoslavia and stocked in AAA English walnut with dynamic grain, features include banded front sight with button-release hood and flip up night bead, banded swivel, bedded action (to recoil lug), custom bottom metal with side button floorplate release and leather-covered recoil pad. Accents include rosewood forend tip and grip cap, exceptional checkering and cheekpiece with shadow line. The barrel itself is 23.5 inches long and topped by a quarter rib with one fixed and three folding regulated leafs. LOP is 13.75 inches and weight is 9.0 pounds. Rust blue metal finish as well as the stock remains in at least 99% condition with only the slightest hint of handling wear. Forearm has a small filled flaw (not a crack) on right side just aft of the forend tip. Bore is pristine. From an estate, the history is unclear. Even though unsigned, the estate represents the maker as Dale Goens – almost certainly accurate as it included several other rifles from the same maker. Price firm. Layaway considered.
