Barrels are 24 inches long with a three leaf express sight (one fixed and regulated for 50 and two folders marked 150 & 200 but green) and integral EAA bases for quick release rings. Stocked in exhibition grade English walnut with satin finish, bordered checkering and pancake cheekpiece, length of pull is 14.85 inches from forward trigger over the pad. Weight is 10.2 pounds and drops (from rib) are 1.375 and 1.875 inches. Cast off is approximately .4 inch. The coin-finished receiver is engraved with fine bouquet and scroll pattern which then extends along barrels, rib, forend latch, lever, tang and water table. A Cape buffalo bust highlights the bottom of the action. Gold accents include "John Rigby & Co" and ".35 Rigby" on the rib, sight distances and reference lines, "Safe" on the tang, "RR" logo on pistol grip trap door and former owner's initials on the guard. Overall metal finish condition is at least 98%, with only light evidence of use and storage. Overall wood finish is about 97%, mostly due to smaller impressions (most of which could be raised). Action serial number differs slightly from that of the barrels/forend, no doubt as a result of ownership history. Nearly 500 rounds of custom-loaded Superior Ammunition (250 grain bullets, .348 Winchester brass) and a takedown case with Rigby logo (broken lock) are included. Price firm. Layaway considered.
