Second series with the magazine release next to the trigger like the model 1911 pistols. Reblued like the factory finish, matte on the top of the barrel and the bottem, nice gloss on the sides, looks original with 98% of the blue finish remaining, lite handling marks, no signs of their ever being any rust damage, or any heavy buffing, it looks original and minty. Perfect bore and action and the grips are mint. Serial number 38421-S looks like it was made in 1950, the Match Target Second series came out in 1948. Overall this is still a great gun, priced accordingly, if it was original blue it books very high-$$$, it looks great and shoots great.
