It is the only one like it in the entire world. From agricultural duty in the Land of Israel comes this custom reinforced and modified forend and forend cap to fit Beretta 300 series shotguns. Manufacturer was Pietro Beretta s.r.l., of Gussago, Italy. Parent shotgun was manufactured in 1981. Construction is European walnut forend, with steel port vent; and with custom brass nose piece. Cap construction is serrated steel with detent, but with welded steel ring. This is a standard field type forend without any action cutoff latch in its center. Overall length is 12 1/2 inches. It will fit any 12 gauge Beretta 300 series Shotgun, including models AL2, 301, 302, 303, 304. 390, and 391. It will fit a Browning B80, because the B80 was made by Beretta. We do not know if they will fit any other shotgun. Forend is fluted with checkered lateral and lower surfaces. Finish is semi-gloss. Surface detractions are extensive, principally a 6 inch hairline crack in the left edge and flut, with minimal separation at the back. Cap is original Kibbutznik filed finish. We rate this forend combination as Fair, perhaps Good, custom modified. Photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
