Description: From its home in North Alabama comes this attractive Winchester model 100 semi automatic rifle. Manufacturer was Winchester Olin of New Haven, CT. From its low 135000 serial number, this model 100 was manufactured in November or December of 1965. Number 135389 began the 1966 production. Production ran from 1961 until 1973. Construction is steel barrel, receiver, bolt, mechanism, magazine, and trigger, with black anodized alloy trigger group housing. Stock is one piece press checkered American Walnut, with steel and polymer grip cap, polymer buttplate, and period correct blue steel sling swivel studs. Barrel is 22 inch, 1:12 six groove right hand rifling, with an outside diameter of .560 at the muzzle and .670 at the forend. Chambering is .308 Winchester Caliber. Sights are screw on ramp front with dovetail beaded blade and steel hood; and fold down steel rear with diamond notch blade that is adjustable for elevation, drift adjustable only for windage. Receiver is blue steel, drilled and tapped from the factory for Weaver #53 one piece base, or similar from other manufacturers. Magazine is factory Winchester steel, holds 4 rounds of .308 ammunition, so 4 + 1 fully loaded capacity. Trigger is .250 serrated face blue steel, and pulls at its original 5 1/2 pounds with moderate felt creep and overtravel. Buttstock length of pull is 13 3/4 inches from the trigger face to the end of the factory buttplate. Safety is forward of the trigger, right hand shooter only; and this rifle has been to Nu Line Guns for its safety and firing pin kit update. Weight empty is 7 pounds, with center of gravity at the bolt face. Nu Line is good at gunsmithing, but not at packing. UPS damaged the stock and would not honor their insurance, as usual. Stock has two hairline lateral cracks that have been expertly repaired by Mr. Frank Elliott. The repairs are not readily distinguishable from the wood grain. Apart from that, surface detractions on this rifle are minimal, only faint amounts of streaking on the left comb area of the buttstock, and on the right side midsection of the stock, with faint amounts of muzzle edge whitening. We rate this 100 as Excellent / Repaired, 90 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean, and recently test fired. Winchester 100s this nice often command prices of $1,000 apiece. At press time on this ad, our new Blue & Walnut Remington 750 .308s were below wholesale at $ 689. We’re offering the North Alabama 100 in the photos, however, for only $ 589.00. Certainly C&R Eligible. Any ammunition and personnel showing in our photos are Not included.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
