Made in 1963, serial number 27452V3 features 28-inch barrels choked M/F, single bead, ejectors, long tang and round knob. ENGRAVING: Double-signed by Baerten, the Diana pattern of pheasants, ducks, quail and rabbits among habitat and surrounded by graceful leaf and scroll is masterfully executed. The receiver, top lever, safety, lower tang and forend furniture show full coverage. The upper tang has partial coverage, along with a gold "S", "O", and "U", and the barrel has a collar of engraving at the receiver. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.4 pounds. Length-of-pull is 13.7 inches over pad, drops are 1.5 and 2.1 inches, and cast off is approximately .25 inch. CONDITION: Top lever caps well to the right and barrels are fully on face. Bores are strong and bright. Blue is about 95 percent, with what appears to be a dressed pit on the right midpoint of the upper barrel. Wood is about 90 percent overall with light scratching, impressions and a bit of finish lift right of the top lever. A Pachmayr White Line pad has been added.
