Description: Here is Charter’s On Duty pocket size revolver in .38 Special caliber. It is the counterpart to arch competitor Smith & Wesson’s Centennial series revolvers. Manufacturer and warrantor is Charter Arms of Shelton, CT. Factory variant number is 53811. Type is fully shrouded internal hammer that yields a double action only, true swingout revolver. Chambering is .38 Smith & Wesson Special caliber. Construction is steel barrel, cylinder assembly, hammer, trigger, and internal parts built into an alloy main frame and grip frame, with factory rubber combat finger groove short boot grips. Barrel is one piece 2 inch, threaded into the frame, with eight groove right hand 18 3/4 rifling in a full lug shroud. Sights are solid rib integral ramp front with frame integral fixed notch rear. Cylinder is 5 shot, and the Charter accepts ammunition from a 36A size speedloader. Trigger is .300 serrated face. Hammer is completely enclosed in the frame, so that this revolver fires in double action only. It simply is Not able to fire single action. Charters generally pull double action in the 12 – 14 pound vicinity, with minimal felt creep. Ignition is floating firing pin, with transfer bar safety mechanism that prevents the hammer from contacting the pin unless the trigger is fully depressed. Weight empty is 14 ounces, center of gravity at the trigger. Finish is factory matte stainless barrel, cylinder assembly, and furniture; natural gray alloy grip frame, with black boot type grips; and with coated alloy main and grip frame assemblies. This revolver and its mates never left Charter Corporate Custody until now. They served as showgirls with Charter’s sales reps. All of them are unfired, with no more cylinder rotation marking than one sees on brand new revolvers on display in stores across the country. Each comes in its factory hard shell case with protective papers, instruction manual, frame finish maintenance warning card, factory registration card, window decal, and gun lock. Replacement pricing on charterfirearms com is $404. We’re offering the Charter On Duty Stainless.38 Special in the photos, however, or one of its identical mates, each for only $ 339.00.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
