So early that in their enthusiasm, the company hadn't yet caught or corrected their mis-spelling of the word ' Model ' on the gun. On this one, it appears as " Modle ". Upper Receiver features 14.5 " bbl w permanently affixed muzzle brake / comp. to bring it up to legal 16.1" length. Can remove front baffle to revert it to flash suppressor. Cavalry Arms was one of the first mfrs to offer synthetic receivers, with the advantage of lighter weight and fewer parts. Buttstock & pistol grip are integral w the reciever. This early version also featured a longer length of pull than the A2 stocks, 14.5" for full-statured operators.
