Dated 1809 at back of lock and appears to have an upside down US behind the pan. Buttstock branded JC on each side. 45" barrel. Metal parts have dark patina overall with some light pitting. Stock shows average wear and use with an age crack in the butt and a small chip from lock mortise at front of lock, but is overall sound and presents an attractive appearance.
