This is a good example of a captured 1942 German 98K Mauser (most likely either by Russia or Yugoslavia). The rifle has been reworked by the capturing country so it is not a numbers matching rifle. Nazi markings have been stamped out as was many times done on captured rifles. This rifle does not have import markings so it is original from that aspect. That being said, rifle has very good metal and extremely good stock. Bore does have some very minor pitting but is overall good condition for its age. This would be a nice addition for someone that wants a piece of history at a great price. Gun will be shipped only to FFL dealer.
