Mossberg & Sons of New Haven, CT. Construction is entirely steel with welded assembly plates. Finish is blued steel body and white steel shell follower. This magazine holds 2 rounds or shells, 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch or 3 inch interchangeably. Dimensions are length 3.040 inches not including the guide channel; .962 inch thickness; 2.395 height measured at the back from floorplate to shell brass guides. It will fit Mossberg Models 395, 495, and 595 that are chambered for 3 inch shells, manufacture years from 1963 until 1983. Western Auto Revelation models 170, 172, 173, 312, 312AK, 312SB; and Wards Western Field Model M170 are, according to Fjiestad’s references, identical models to the Mossberg 395 series. This magazine will Not fit in 2 3/4 inch only chambered shotguns like the 385. This magazine comes to us from an estate collection. Surface detractions are moderate to extensive, with finish loss on its floorplate, toning on its shell follower, and extensive freckling on its body, some of it etchy. We rate it as Good, 60 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Spring strength is excellent, this magazine was not left sitting loaded.
