Description: First off, note the slight ring in the barrel about even with the end of the stock's forend area, 5 inches back of the muzzle. This should not be a problem for hunting, so long as the shooter holds the charge down to 120 grains or less. It definitely does not affect the functioning of the rifle for its intended purpose, Civil War Reenactment. This Italian Made Navy Arms Import replica of the 1863 Zouave Rifle is legal for Civil War reenactment sessions among most camps, since it exactly reproduces its ancestors made a century before it was. Buttstock is one-piece beveled Italian blond Walnut with correct brass furniture, including trigger guard, brass bands, brass forend cap, and brass buttplate with integral patch or primer box and lid. Ramrod is the original one piece steel, and the lock and trigger mechanism shows substantial amounts of its original casehardening. Three leaf rear sight is authentic enough, as is the steel original ramrod. This Zouave is solid throughout, with moderate weathering evidence to its buttstock. Bright blue is strong throughout on the barrel surfaces, but with spotty residue, especially around the nipple area. We rate this .58 as Very Good finishwise, since we estimate that 70 percent of its original finish is intact. Barrel is full length 33 inches; and its bore is Very Good as well, with no detectable pitting and strong rifling. Note our initial comment on the ring inside the barrel that is visible on close scrutiny of our photos. Mechanism is tight and strong as well. This rifle is not only collectable and serviceable for its condition and historical configuration, it is collectable for another reason. It was probably manufactured by Pietta of Italy, or perhaps Pedersoli; and its date code is XXI, 1965 manufacture year. This is, then, one of the earlier imports by a fledgling Navy Arms in Ridgefield, New Jersey, and collectable for that reason. We're offering it for only $ 319.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
