SMITH & WESSON MODEL 1950 TARGET .45 Guns > Pistols > Smith & Wesson Revolvers > Full Frame Revolver
Description: For sale from Mike Venturino’s collection; One of the rarest N-frame Smith & Wesson revolvers. Smith & Wesson Model 1950 Target (pre-Model 26 .45 ACP). Factory records show only 2768 Model 1950 Target/Model 26s were made between 1950 and 1966. Factory letter shows revolver was shipped from the factory in 1953 to an individual in New York City. Barrel length is 6 ½ inches and grips are checked Magna style with diamond pattern around screw. Overall condition is excellent; about 95% plus. However, an extra wide hammer spur has been grafted onto the hammer. It is not a factory issue wide hammer but the job was well done and it feels nice. $1200.00 plus $20 shipping.

Kirk is a Montana native whose father always told him he had a whiskey taste on a water income. That is true today...Kirk never considered himself a failure, he started out at the bottom and likes it there. His passion is for old Colt's and Winchesters and what he doesn't know about them he consults with Mike Venturino who has written about some of Kirk's less notable exploits. Kirk returns all calls and is mostly pleasant to talk to. Phone Cell,; home,
