It was purchased new ,by me, in 1968. This was the first version of the Mark series and is no longer made. The action of this pistol is smooth and fast. I think it is somewhat rare in that it has wooden target grips complete with thumb rest and good checkering. The rear sight is fully adjustable. While this pistol is old it is in fine shooting condition. There is some wear on the blueing mostily on the pistol grip frame. It features a 6 inch tapered barrel with good rifleing. It comes with original box and Ruger brochure/parts list This is a true classic that you don't see many of these days. Don't miss out on this one.
