I have two of these collectible Remington 700 with the rare roll mark 7MM Express. This is the same chambering as what is now know as the .280 Remington. For 1 or 2 years, Remington marked these rifles with 7MM Express and then change the markings to .280 Remington. This rifle is essentially "like new" with 2 exceptions. There seems to be a flaw (probably from the factory) in the checkering on the right side of the pistal grip area of the stock. Actually not noticeable with the eye, but a slight roughness can be detected by touch. The other thing is that apparently some one didn't like the jeweling on the bolt so they polished it off. The jeweling in not worn from general use because the rifle has obviously seen very limited use and shows no other signs of being handled much. Georgeous stock and deep blue. This one belongs in some one's collection. Not too much to say about this essentially like new beauty. Shipping will be $40.00 in hard case.
