We have a Pre-64 Winchester model 70 that is a transition gun. Manufactured in 1947 it has the cloverleaf tang, transition safety, but the new receiver and was factory drilled and tapped on the rear bridge. The caliber is “.30GOV’T’06”, 30-06. The stock is in very fine condition and has a pad. The LOP over the pad is 13 5/8”. The metal is excellent and the front sight hood is still on the gun. The rear sight has been removed and an old Marble’s blank is not in the groove. The bore is excellent and the numbers match on the bolt and receiver. $899.00 plus $38 shipping in a new hard case and UPS approved outer box. We offer 30, 60, and 90 day layaway.
