Smith Corona US Model 1903-A3, manufactured 1943, serial number 36652xx. Barrel is Smith Corona dated March 1943. No import or rebuild marks. This rifle is in very good used condition overall, barrel and receiver in mint condition. Marked parts are mixed manufacturers, all are noted below and shown in pictures.
The rifle has been disassembled, examined, cleaned and lubricated. Parts were clean for photos, coated with oil and greased where appropriate when reassembled.

Part Details:
Receiver: excellent condition, absolutely no pitting, parkerized finish in excellent condition. All metal parts of the rifle may be reparkerized.
Barrel: marked “SC 3-43” with flaming bomb/punch mark and proof “P”. External finish in excellent condition. 4-groove rifling. Bore is bright like new, crown and rifling excellent.

Front sight: base unmarked, blade marked “C”
Sight cover: marked “U.S.” with flaming bomb on left side, “R” on right side
Rear sight base: unmarked
Rear sight ramp: unmarked
Stock: GI walnut, straight, no finger grooves, two recoil pins. Sanded and refinished, although buttplate fit is excellent. Markings are faint: 7/16” circled “P” on pistol grip, “FJA” with crossed cannons on left side, and the usual assembly marks in front of the floorplate. No cracks, nice appearance.
Handguard: walnut, no cracks
Sling: web, used, looks GI
