Description: Colt Government Model Semi-Auto Pistol serial #C228341, 45 ACP, 5'' barrel with an excellent bore. The steel surfaces retain about 99% blue finish with slight scattered signs of handling. The replacement smooth rosewood grips with Colt gold medallions are excellent. This 1947 gun has an arched mainspring housing and standard issue fixed sights. A very high condition early post-war example. There is no box or papers.
