Description: M1816 flintlock US martial pistol by Simeon North. Excellent lock marking and barrel proofs. Metal parts have a dark patina overall with some scattered light pitting. Stock is very good, visible cartouche opposite lock, name "EDWARD B LEE" stamped below lock. Has a crack by the rear lock screw, some added finish around the lock mortise, with scattered moderate handling marks overall. Mechanically good except releases from half cock, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
