Make - Luger, made by DWM of Austria (Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken);

Model - 1900 'American Eagle' Luger;

Operation - Semi-Automatic Pistol;

Caliber - 7.65mm Parabellum / .30 Luger;

Barrel - 4 1/2";

Serial number #7xxx falls just after U.S. Test Model range and indicates a Date Of Manufacture in 1901.

Not stamped 'Germany', has no proof-marks showing.

Has last two digits of serial number on lower shoulder of locking bolt/take-down lever, and on trigger side-plate, and on rear toggle link below rear sight.

Grip safety and Type 2 (checkered, not grooved) thumb safety.

Strong straw color remains on appropriate parts.

Not your standard "war prize" Luger!

Front sight appears to have been repaired.

We have seen similar pistols that are not in as nice condition as this one sell for around $4000.00.
