The rifle was shot very little and shows minimal wear. The .338 federal round is basically a hopped up .308 necked up 0.030 inches which allows it to shoot a 185 grain bullet the same velocity as a 165 grain one. This gives greater knock down power and a flatter shot trajectory thus accuracy is improved. The rifle is surprisingly lightweight, the optic crystal clear with a flip up cover and the stock has the soft touch surface. The barrel length on this is 20 inches, the rifling is sweet and the trigger pull crisp at between 2 to 4 lbs. Just a very nice rifle to take on your next hunting trip.
