Description: COOPER FIREARMS OF MONTANA MODEL 57 WESTERN CLASSIC BOLT ACTION SPORTER IN .22 LR. Want a beautiful rifle? L & M Enterprises USA ordered this heirloom quality rifle as a special 2017 .22 LR sporting rifle for one person whose taste runs to the special, perhaps the unique ... a rifle that no one else has in his gun vault or on the wall of his den or office.

This Cooper M57 has all of the Western Classic features plus four desirable options and an exhibition French walnut stock personally selected by the owner of L & M Enterprises USA.

The standard Western Classic features include the following: 24 inch chrome-moly 4140 steel octagonal barrel with deep blue-black hand polished finish and crowned muzzle; “sculpted” steel, single screw grip cap; color case hardened receiver, trigger guard, magazine base, and bolt shroud; 22 LPI Western Fleur pattern hand-cut checkering that wraps the forearm and crosses at the pistol grip; hand formed and finished beaded cheek piece; ebony foreend tip hand selected to compliment the wonderful grain and color of the French walnut; hand rubbed oil finish; bedded action; free floated barrel; adjustable factory trigger assembly set by the factory for 2.5 pound pull. OAL = 42.5 inches; LOP = 13 ¾ inches; Weight = 7.5 pounds with bolt and magazine but no bases or rings.

The optional features include the following: Neidner-style, checkered steel butt plate inletted at the top of the heel; three-panel hand checkered bolt knob; inletted, two screw, sling swivel studs; beautifully color case hardened Neidner butt plate, steel grip cap, inletted sling swivel studs, with all associated mounting screws; Talley bases; Talley case color hardened rings in a height and diameter specified by the buyer of this spectacular rifle. The color case hardening colors on this rifle are spectacular! Look at the images of the receiver and bottom metal!

The exhibition French walnut stock includes the following: beautiful golden brown honey colored wood with ribbons of black streaking running from the foreend tip through the forearm and pistol grip and then curving downward across the surfaces of the buttstock to the toe. Both sides of the stock are matched in coloring and carry ribbons of contrasting black grain from tip to tip. Gorgeous?

Upon purchase, buyer can specify the height and dimension that he wishes for his Color Case Hardened Talley rings, and we will order them at that time. The pricing includes one set of fixed Talley rings with CC finish.
