English .375 H&H, a really nice English style rifle made in England about 1930. A very accurate rifle..3 leaf iron sights sighted in at 100, 200, and 300 yds and shoot to that POI..
Condition of metal is excellent, old world rust blue. and its been cared for, the bore is mint, wood is European walnut with a LOP of 13-3/4 over a 3/4" recoil pad. no cracks or damage and the inletting is outstanding..
I installed a Talley bolt, M-70 3 pos. safety, and Timney trigger but I have the original housing, trigger and bolt handle in case I ever wanted to return it to original..
The gun came out of Zimbabwe some years ago and has quite a history..I have shot probably 30 or so Cape Buffalo with it and all sorts of African game over the years. It is a great rifle, points like a Boss shotgun and never fails to feed or function. I cannot remember the maker but it has all the English proof marks and the workmanship is better than excellent.
Maybe partial trade??
