Good working WWII type 99 short rifle used early in the war, mostly on Guadalcanal in 1942. Has aircraft rear sight, and side mounted sling swivels.Typical wartime dents from handling in the field, but nothing out of the ordinary. Has Tokyo's Koishikawa Arsenal markings. Clean clear MUM, capture rifle see photo on top of reciever . Medal has dark wartime finish, and surface oxidation, not pitted.Gun could use a thorough cleaning! Bolt locks up good.Comes with a cleaning rod.
