Serial number 8655 has intercepting safety sears, 2.75-inch chambers, automatic safety and extractors. The action, barrels, top lever, guard, tangs, safety, forend furniture and screws have modest border and scroll embellishment. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.6 pounds, length-of-pull is 14.3 inches, drops are 1.5 and 2.25 and cast (off) is approximately .75-inch. CONDITION: Barrels have been polished and reblued. Rib markings are soft and overall finish is about 70% with some thinning and smudging. Barrels are on face and bores are strong and bright. The action has silvered, with only a trace of colors remaining. The shotgun has been lovingly restocked with heavily-figured walnut. Currently about 85% overall, checkering has uniform wear and minimal field impressions. The widow's peak butt plate is about 90%. CASE: The maker's case has a loosening interior.
