Note that this pistol has a factory original stock repair that it shipped with in 1990. From an Upstate Collection comes this pristine Flint Lock Pistol and its twin. Manufacturer was Davide Pedersoli & Co., snc, of Gardone, Italy. Neither specimen importer stamped. From their AZ date codes, each one was manufactured in 1990. Construction is steel barrel, sights, lock assembly, trigger, hammer, screws, and internal parts with brass furniture and trigger guard; and with Italian Walnut ramrod and stock. Type is Flintlock single shot pistol. Barrel is 10 3/8 inch Octagonal, with dovetailed steel blade front and rear sights. Bore is .50 caliber black powder, with twelve groove right hand 1:18 rifling. Trigger is .240 curved type. Overall length is 15 3/8 inches. Weight empty is 29 ounces, centered at the rear sight. Finish is glossy golden browned barrel, white steel frizzen, case colored hammer and lock, blued sights, trigger, and screws, brass thimbles and furniture, and satin walnut. Note that the stock has a full circumference vein at the rear of the ramrod thimble that is factory original to this pistol, but its grain is not a perfect match. This pistol comes in its original box with Cabela’s label stickers, protective papers, and an English and Italian instruction manual that contains a never executed factory registration card.
