This pistol is, to all intents and purposes, a nearly exact copy of John Browning's 1911 Colt pistol that was the standard issue side arm for the U.S. military for decades: it has the same grip safety and internal extractor and magazine release as the original design. However, this Llama also has windage adjustable rear sight and anti-glare top ramp, along with a loaded chamber indicator. It has front strap striations and mainspring checkering. Additionally, it also has a wide and knurled hammer spur. This tough-as-nails pistol would be ideal as a truck gun, summer cabin hide-out gun, or back up home defense gun--or perhaps just a trusty range gun. We've cleaned it thoroughly and function tested it, as well as polished the slide rails, feed ramp, barrel throat, sear, and disconnector. These Llama's are solid, durable, and reliable pistols.
