These were the primary objectives in the design of the DELTA SS-15 Super Sniper. The 20” long, 223 Wylde, 1-in-8 twist, heavy-weight, fluted, Matte Bead-Blasted stainless steel premium match-grade barrel – optimized for accuracy with the longer, heavier bullets frequently used for longer range shooting. This upper is engineered, designed, and built to deliver unmatched accuracy at 300, 400, an even 500 yd. The NiB-X Forged Upper with Black Cerakote Topcoat. (This is the top of the line forged upper!) Maximized performance and durability by coating inside and outside with NiB-X – an exclusive nickel boron formulation that reduces friction, minimizes wear, and eliminates the need for lubrication. The upper receiver is then topcoated with a ceramic coating for optimal durability, strength, corrosion protection, wear resistance and reliability. Forged 7075-T6 aluminum to Mil. The forearm is in the triangular shape (Delta) that allows for an ergonomic grip and the flat bottom provides a more stable shooting platform off barriers.
