Serial number 26087SA features a 7.5-inch barrel, color case frame and black hard rubber grips. MARKINGS: Single-line address on top of barrel, "Colt Single Action Army .38 Special" on barrel left, "820" on front of cylinder and the Armsmare logo on the rear, "26087SA" (2x) on inside of grip and "990" on the loading gate. Factory grips are hand-numbered "087". CONDITION: Bore is bright and shiny. Action is tight with four positive "clicks". Barrel blue is about 95 percent with minimal thinning. Cylinder blue is about 97 percent. Frame colors are about 40 percent. Grip frame blue is about 99 percent. While the history of this pistol is unknown, it is possible refurbishing has been done - even though there is no outward evidence of polishing under the finish.
