Someone took a 1964 Browning FN Safari and turned it into a “Guide” Type rifle – work done was excellent and very professional as follows; Original Browning FN long extractor action, shortened to 20” and front sight re-installed, custom walnut stock with action fully glass bedded, hinged floor plate and trigger guard replaced and is HARD to open by hand to prevent shells from falling out under dangerous game situations. Rate the rifle overall at about 92-95% condition with minor handling marks and wear – bore is perfect – see photos. Other features are: Browning FN Safari Long extractor action dated 1964, hooded front and flip-up rear sights, Redfield one piece scope base installed, RH raised cheek piece, smooth stock with no checkering, sling swivel studs. 13 ½” LOP to Pachmayr 1 inch white line pad, 1.5 pound trigger pull, 9 pounds / 4 oz. +Insured S&H of $40.00 to your local FFL dealer for transfer.
