As the last of the fifty thousand some odd German P6 Magazines are finding new homes, we chose not to engage with the only US Company advertising a Sig P225 Magazine from bad experience with those in 2008 and 2009. Here is Triple K's P38 Magazine that our machinist friends have professionally cut to fit the Sig P6 / old model P225 Pistols we've enjoyed so much over the past 40 years. It is not as good a fit as its competitor because it protrudes an extra 3/8 inch past the butt of the pistol. More important, however, it works. Manufacturer is Triple K of San Diego, a 70 year old business. Construction is entirely steel, with ported right side for a count of every other round. Floorplate and cartridge follower are steel, with music grade steel spring. Each magazine is precision cut to engage a P6 magazine release. Finish is entirely brushed surface blued steel. Each magazine holds 8 rounds of 9mm ammunition: 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19, call it what you will, THE 9mm. These magazines will fit Sig Sauer P6 and P225 model pistols manufactured from 1976 until 1998; they will also fit any P1 or P38 pistol manufactured by Carl Walther of Germany, regardless of its production date. They will not fit any other firearms other than those two. They will NOT fit a Sig Sauer P225A1 New Model pistol. We and our local customers have had excellent service experience with Triple K Magazines for the past 15 years, and we cannot say that about their competitor. Replacement pricing on factory German P6 P225 magazines often exceeds $50 apiece. We’re offering these brand new professionally fitted Triple K magazines, however, each for only $ 29.00. Any magazine deliveries into New York City require written permission from the Police Commissioner, so we cannot ship magazines into any of the five boroughs or 176 some odd zip codes, per NYC Code 10-131.10.
