Oh, there are a couple of very minor surface scratches on the receiver but We've seen new one's right out-of-the-box that look a lot worse than this one. Seriously, other than the minor scratches, there are no nicks, blemishes, abrasions, or contusions. The 28" vent rib, Modified Choke barrel is perfect. The furniture is perfect and it's made out of nice quality "wood" too ! The 2-3/4" chamber and action are all perfect. This one will do the same as a new one costing $900-$1000 !
