Makarov has a unusual brushed chrome/chromed finish. Some Bulgarian sources say these were issued to the Bulgarian Black Sea Fleet and the finish represents efforts to protect the pistols from sea corrosion. Other sources say these pistols were finished and used as presentation pieces for the Bulgarian military or police. These chromed Makarov's are usually found in a heavily used condition. Very few have ever been imported. This sample is an exception and would be rated as excellent condition. Bore is bright with no pitting. All external serial numbers match including a magazine matched to the pistol. This Makarov would make a good shooter or addition to any collection. This are not Curio & Relic. Credit cards add 3.5%.
