The barrel was custom headspaced to the blued receiver. The trigger is a crisp 2.5 pounds. The H.S. Precision stock is pillar bedded and the barrel is floated and centered in the stock. The rifle has fired 3/8 inch groups at 100 yards with handloads. There has been less than fifty rounds fired through this barrel. The bolt can not be removed with the safety on. This action is the older, smoother Remington action. Very Nice! This rifle will make a great hunting rifle for someone that needs a very accurate rifle.
