This Colt Army and Navt Special has an antique frame made 1893. At some point this weapon appears to have been refinished at one time and now carries a dull blue though no markings are bluted and all are still clear and sharp. The butt strap is flat w/o any sign of ever having a lanyard ring while the chambbers are bored straight throught.. The six inch barrel has a very good bore with the standard rear groove and half moon round sight. This revolver carries a set of beautiful, genuine Mother of Pearl grips. The single action trigger is sharp and the D/A pull is the Colt two stage trigger pull that is smoother than most. This weapon is most often seen as the Military 1892,1894,1895,1896, 1901 and 1903 Model and the civilian version is quiet rare. These grips alone wouldsell for $200 a pair. This weapon can safely fire both Colt .38 and .38 Special Standard velosity ammunition.
