Page developed the .243 and when Winchester started the .243 Win page took a 30 degree shoulder on the 6mm cartridge to shoot the heavier 100 and 105 grain bullets better for shooting game further and harder hitting. I have a set of dies and brass to reload this with along with some ammunition. The barrel is a 1:10 twist holds 1/2" minute of angle at 100 yards. It is one hell of a long shooter and with heavier bullets. This gun is bedded in a nice H.D. Stock with cheek rest, black for cup w/white spacer and black cap w/white spacer on bottom of pistol grip. Has trigger shoe and Pachmeyer recoil pad with 2 black spacers and 2 white spacer, and comes with a Redfield one piece scope mount with a J. Unertle Vulture Scope 10X43 fine cross-hairs with dot, perhaps one of the finest precision distance shooting scopes you can find. Trigger has been worked and has a trigger shoe on it. Also has a 1" leather military sling on the rifle that comes with it. Jim Cloward is a master gunsmith in Seattle, WA for those of you who want to know more about him. This gun is out of the estate of Nick Matchett former Marine Sniper, Black Ops Vietnam, and a Customs Inspector and Firearms Instructor over 20 years my former hunting companion.
