Here is the earlier Version of the first Lightweight scope mount for the type 56 SKS Rifles that were overwhelmingly abundant in the US 25 years ago. Manufacturer was probably Shenzen Freelight of China. Importer was DKG Trading of Evansville IL. Construction is 9 piece, with steel cross pin and screws; setscrew retained tension screws; forward left side roll pin; and with one piece cast aluminum alloy body. Packaging reads, machined from aircraft grade aluminum. This mount's anchor piece goes through the receiver, but fitting is required for the anchor screws and for the forward set pin. Finish is matte anodized. Rail is 8 Slot Weaver Type, but will accept optics pieces calibrated for M1913 Picatinny Slots. Each Mount comes in its original package with a total of 3 allen wrenches. Please be advised that the over the counter replacement language on the back of the package does not apply and is not correct in our case. This is a closeout piece that gave way to the very similar 14 slot Sun Optics import, made by the same Chinese Company. Theirs require fitting, too, for twice what we're selling these closeout mounts for. That is simply the nature of the beast, the SKS Rifles, which we've been dealing now for 32 years.
