This is an excellent example of a Special Order 1881 Marlin that you can use and enjoy for years to come. No visible cracks in the stocks or the frame. All serial number match, internal and external, and set trigger has spring pressure but does not set the front trigger. Front trigger is operational and when pulled It functions fine. I have many pictures of this rifle. The rifling is still intact an appears good for the age of this piece. Rifle loads, cycles, fires and ejects as it did when new. It’s accurate and reliable.
