It was given to me by a friend before he died several years ago. I am not sure if it was ever fired or has ever been cleaned. It has a wood grip, a blued barrel and the baalnce I believe is chrome or silver. It is the origina colt wooden box made specificly for this gun model. the interior of the box is very good and the exterior has some scratches, never been redone, the box or the gun. the serial number is 65959D which as I can tell would put it over 55 years old. I am sure it will fire but I do not wish to hurt the integrity of the gun. The double action hammer works excellent. The barrel swings sideways to load and unload. It is a single shot derringer. The Box has the Colt engraved logo on the top and on the top on the inside the red clothe has the Colt logo stamped.
