One is U notched on its left side; the other two have their rails completely removed. Photos show one of only three frames we have left, that used to be a West German Police Training Pistol. These are PWA Imports and will be billed as such, as required by Federal Law. PWA Import stamp was on its slide’s left side. This frame will accept any parts for P6 and P225 Pistols manufactured from 1976 until 1999, and some parts from other Sigs. Manufacturer was Sig Sauer gmbh of Eckenforde, Germany. Production dates ranged from 1978 to 1983. Construction is lightweight alloy. Finish is matte black anodized, similar to current production Nitron finished sights. Surface detractions will be minimal to moderate, some wear, mostly from storage because these frames weren’t issued for duty. The principal detraction to this frame is the .375 vicinity gap that the Federal West German Police armorers cut in the upper right side of the frame, in an effort to demill the pistol and make it be suitable for non firing training use only. A P6 / P225 slide will still cycle manually on this frame. It may or may not be salvageable as a firing pistol with low velocity 9mm loads. A rimfire conversion might fly, but we simply don’t know. Buyers should consult a competent gunsmith, and we are neither competent nor gunsmiths.
